The property of the Oklahoma City
Daily Post will perhaps be sold imme-
diately to the highest bidder. Omer
K. Benedict, the receiver, who still lias
charge of the property, made applica-
tion to F. S. Goodrich, referee In bank-
ruptcy today, asking for an order to
sell the property immediately on the
grounds that it is perishable.
Referee Goodrich stated that lie will
act upon the matter tomorrow and that
he will perhaps grant the order.
APPRAISERS APPOINTED.
Referee Goodrich appointed Hiram
C. Baker of the Western Newpsaper
Union; J. D. Corley, proprietor of the
Corley Printing company, and Frank
Layton, former foreman of the Post
as a board of appraisers, this morning!
The board is at work today taking an
inventory of the plant and will perhaps
report tomorrow to the referee.
NO TRUSTEE APPOINTED.
Mr. Goodrich stated that I10 wouldn't
appoint a trustee, but will leave Bene-
dict in charge until the meeting of the
creditors, which is set for October 4th

IN COURT
Martlia Fleming, better known in po-
lice circles as Zulu, appeared in police
court this morning with tier head al-
most concealed with bandages.
When the woman's name was railed
should couldn't speak above a whisper,
and started to cry.
Zulu was arrested by Patrolman
P-ige in the Black Diamond Saturday
night She is said to have fought
the officer when the latter is said
to have truck her several times on
the head . • j •«I neck. The club was
shattered to splinters and the wo-
man's head was so badly bruised that
a physician had to be called, after
she was taken to 111 • • station. Sev-
eral other negroes at t!.« Black Dia-
mond Interfered when Zulu was ar-
rested, and Page later arrested a ne-
gro named Washington for re ling.
The cases will be tried tonight.

in the afternoon you can always get
