One of the most delightful gather-
ings of the week was that of the mem-
bers of the Symphony Club, and j
guests, numbering In all about forty
who were invited to the beautiful

day evening.
This club, as its name would iiull-
cate. is noted for the harmony of its
membership, and this gathering was
no exception.

The l.adies Aid Society of Glynn
Memorial M. K. church met at the
home of Mrs. .Mark Hilies 011 South
Park Wednesday afternoon and served
! refreshments for the benefit of the
j organization's treasury. The sum of
: $R was added as the result of the
ladies effects, and a very enjoyable
| day spent. The refreshments included
escalloped chicken, sandwiches, pick-
le s, coffee and cake.

ised all the rest.
We've got an organ In the church

It's got a thousand pipes or more. It's
melody is grand.
As we sit 011 cushioned pews and hear
the master play,
It carries us to realms of bliss un-
numbered miles away.
It cost a cool three thousand, and it's
stood the hardest tests:

Aid the rest.
They'll give a hundred sociables; can-
tatas. too. and teas;
They'll bake a lot of angel food and
tons of cream they'll freeze.
