PREPARE FOR OPENING.
Fences Being Removed From
Kiowa-Comanche Reser-
vation.
The Interior Department rep-
resentatives in the new country
are making preparations for the
opening of the Kiowa-Comanche
Indian reservation. The Indian
agents have removed all the
fences, which were over 200 miles
in length. Silverstein iV Stein,
extensive cattlemen, are shipping
out a herd of 2,000 cattle, the
last of the stock which during
the past four years have been
grazing 011 the half-million acre
reserve.
