terday, was reached by phone at Tulsa
and came back to help nurse the un-
lucky youngster who is the boy that
was so badly hurt during the hletic
contest here a year or two ago by
being struck with a chain shot in the
shot put event.
Dr. Frank of Kingfisher, a lady eye
specialist, was here last night enroute
to St. Louis. She will probably stop
here professionally on her way home.
F. G. Corbin and wife left laSt night
for Nevada, Missouri, called by a
telegram announcing the death of Mr.
Corbiu's father which occurred yester
day morning. Mr. Corbin spent the
summer here several years J ago and
made many friends who learn with
sincere sorrow of the of the
sweet natured old gentleman. The
son's family spent ten days with him

The county commissioners will have
plenty to do when they meet again

Outrage at Sparks.
A horrible affair Is reported from
Sparks in which several boys ranging
from 9 to 13 years are concerned and
of which Donnie Graham, the little
daughter of Bernard Uraham, was the
victim. The outrage occurred Fri-
day. .
