Quite a number of our farmers are I
selling their cotton notwithstanding
the low price ....Two cows in this
vicinity have brought forth two calves
each, a thing that rarely happens ex-
cept in a dry year....G. T. Nash w-ill
not come to his farm here until Christ-
mas on account of failure to buy his
renter off L. C. Thurman contem-
plates taking a trip to Colorado for
his health. Mr. Thurman has been in
very poor health for some time and
has been advised by his physician to |
travel The wedding bells went jing-
a-ling again today. Mr. Barber Zeig-
ler to Mrs. Cora Reed, a widowed
daughter of William Cope. He got a
good looking woman and three chil-
dren to boot. Parson Gregory tied
the knot that made the two one and
the children made five.

Mr. Coy, who lives in South Choc-
taw near the Catholic church, had 20
ton of hay, mostly alfalfa, set on tire

to get married about Christmas. We
think the prophets are right this time.
