A niooakdly, penny-wise and
pound-foolish policy in Oklahoma
City at this particular time will make
this a whistling station, while a broad
guatfed, liberal, wide-awake policy
for a year will double its population.
This city can draw prosperity fron
the Choctaw: but it will require a
united effort. Unless a united effort
is made to secure factoi ies and shop *
the city will lost by the building ot
this road.
The retail merchant is by no means
secure; neither is the man who owns
good business or residence proper t,y.
The building of the road will cut off
an important wagon trade, which can
not be replaced except by securing
factories and shops.
It is every citizen's duty to assist in
securing shops and factories, and to
that end street tights and politic*
should be laid anlde, for the common
good of the city.

Two laves Saved.
Mrs. Phoebe Thomas, of Junction
City, 111., was told by her doctors she
had consumption and that there was
no hope for her, but two bottles L)r
Kings New Discovery completely
cured her and she says it saved her
life. Mr Thomas Eggers, 139 Florida
street, San Francisco, suffered froui a
dreadful cold, approaching consump-
tion, tried without result everything
else then bought one bottle of Dr
King's New Discovery aud in two
weeks was cured. He is uaturally
thankful. It is such results,of which
these are samples, that prove the
wonderful f rticacy of this medicine In
coughs and colds. Free f« i Mtt«
