tint a schedule of prices paid for

Biado by some person not interested in
the controrersy that has arisen, and
that both papers publish that sched-

course is the only ono that will show
which paper has told tho truth in
this controversy.
That "Kills Kelley job" is not
oppressing the taxpayers as much as
t'lu Press-Gazette pretends. The
oi ty liaB had possession three mouths
a 11 bus collected $4(15 in cash, be-
t-lea saving $120 city rents. Aliout
I . •(> has beoiT applied to the payment
Of that 11,000, and in live more
ui:inths it will all lie paid. The tax-
payers will not pay one cent of the

i.'itbrie News.
Every dollar of stock has been
subscribed to Capt. Jackson's plow
company. This has been done upon
the contingency of a donation sulli-
cient to erect the necessary buildings
for the starting of the works. They
are inexpensive, and for the present
the neeessary ones will cost about
$1,000. That amount can lie raiBod,
we are satisfied.
This plow venture will be a mighty
success, if it is anything. There can
Iw nu half way ground to it. If
('apt. Jackson lias ovcrcaino one-
third the draft, and still accomplishes
an good work as the old style of
plows, we can scarcely conceive a
limit to the magnitude of the busi-
ness. A thousand men could not
turn out plows fast enough t* supply
tlio territory west of the Mississippi
river. If it has not the advantages
that Capt. Jackson claims for It and
believes it has, the stockholders are
the losers. They are all carefnl bus-
iness men who have thoroughly
studied the principle of the plow,
and have tested its practical workings.
Wo believe tho city and citizens can
wed alford to put $1,000 into the
experiment.
The great need of
.4=rage. It is not
— the discovery of
a medicine that
will cure all kid-
ney d meases,
laine, sore or
aching backs;
that will cure all
female diseases,
restoring Ameri-
can woman
phytically to the
hitfh plane in
civilization she
occupies intellectually, morally and
socially, giving tone to her iuusclesv
elasticity to her step, n glow of health
to her cheek and sweetm-RH to her dibpo*
sition; nor that will purify tho blood,
curing all skin eruptions, s'-rofula, rheu-
matism, dropsy, heart diseases, head-
aehe and nervous languor. No, that is
not what is needed, for that is already
done. The medicine has long been dis-
covered. It is Dr. Fenner's Kidney and
Itackache Cure. Hut what is wanted is
a universal knowledge of the fact. And
that is just why th's article is written—
to give knowledge of the fact. Dr. Fenner
knows it will do these things, for he hns
sold it for 20 years, mon -y refunded if
satisfaction not given. It will not de-
ceive or disappoint just expectation*.

The material development of Ok-
lahoma City during the four aud a
half years of its existence is not more
marvolous than the change in public
uioral sentiment that has taken place
with.a the past six months. A year
n^o many of the best people in tho
city were prone to wink at every
species of immorality. While do
griding institutions and practices
wi re not encouraged, they were per
lmtted to exist unmolested either by
the police or tho ministers of the gos
pel. Perfection has not been attained
tet by any means, but we do not bo
lievc Lhatju healthy moral sentiment
this city is much below tho average.
