has been connected for «ome months
with the Oklahoma Transfer Co., was
arrested at Yukon yesterday charged
with stealing some 1200 from tbe
money drawer in tbe Choctaw depot
In that city. When arrested, 18j or
the money was found on =bls person
and he was taken to El Reno and
lodged in Jail. He protests his inno-
cence, but tbe agent at Yukon an
railroad offl-ials claim tbe evidence
against him is conclusive.

The funeral of David M. Daucy Jr
of tills city took place yesterday after
noon from Dunn's undertaking rooms
at three o'clock. The pall bearers

the Rev. Nathan conducted the ser-

tbe family were present and accom-
panied the remains to the cemetery.
The deceased bad been sick but a few
d;1yj, and his untimely aud sudden
demise was a shock to the community
Mr. Dincey was born in Madison
Parish, Louisiana, aud was 42 years
of age. He was a son of Dr. D. M.
Dancey of that place aud a brother of
our well known citizen,

He came to this

tended making this city bis home.
•During bis short residence in this Mr.
Dancy made a large circle of friends,
and he and his brother had establish-
ed for themselves the reputation of
being Bound, honest and substantial

as well as to their numerous friends,
and this paper extends to them the
utmost sympathy aud condolence.

he has naturally given more attention

cratic members of the finance commit-
tee. The fact is also recalled that
the senate, notwithstanding it
was of the same political complexion as
the house when the Me'.Cinley bill was
before congress, made many radical
Changes in the bill as it passed the
house. The fact is considered justifica-
tion for the opinion that even if the
Wilson bill, as it is reported, should,
pass the house, the chances for radical:
changes in the senate are numerous
