berry bushes," was doubtless a
willful exaggeration. Never-
theless, time beautiful bioB-

homa that a newcomer might
be made to believe that thev
bloom on every kind of busfi
that giow-. It i no uncommon
thing to n e a dozen varieties of
rosea all in bloom at the same
time, in one yard. And such
beautiful roses! They are well
developed, beautifully colored
and sweet-scented. Their col-
ors are as varied as those of the
rainbow, and they are with us
from May until September. A
rose was recently brought to
this office whieh measured live
inches in dian eter, Think of
that, you denizens of the north
and east, who admire the little,
wild, yellow ro e that grows in
the pastures and on the hill-
sides.

festival! The display would
certainly be a gorgeous one.
