Normal Notes.
Fred and Roy McCarol, who
were here for the spring terns of
'03 and '04, enrolled last week.
Miss Lena Haynes and her
guest Miss Berkmeyer were vis-
itors in Assembly Friday morn-
ing.,
Miss Inez Kirby returned Sun-
day from her home at Ailsonite,
I. T., where she has been visiting
for the past week.
Scott Hendon of Tecumseh re-
turned to school on Monday. Mr.
Hendon was a member of the
track team last spring and ex-
pects to reenter at this season.
The Lyceum society will give
its annual open meeting this Fri-
day evening, March 31. "The
Elevator," a farce by W. D.
Howells will be given, together
with several other interesting
numbers.
Mr. Fred Pfaff, a student of '99
and 1900 was married to Miss Nell
Rockefeller at Oklahoma City
Sunday afternoon. Mr. Pfaff
was a popular man in school cir-
cles and his friends wish a long
and happy life for him and his
bride.
Messrs. Armstrong and -Nihart,
the champion tennis doubles of
the territory, have been chal-
lenged to a tennis tournament by
Jack Alley and Dwight Porter of
Kingfisher who were the cham-
pions for several years preceding
1904. Arrangements are being
made for the meet to occur here
at an early date.
The C.N. S. Baseball Team is
certainly keeping up its record as
"winner." A team composed of
some of the business men of the
town, challenged the C. N. S.
team, which challenge was
promptly accepted. The game
was called at 4 o'clock Friday af-
ternoon by Prof. Taming, the
umpire, and resulted in the score
of 10 to 0 in favor of the Normal
boys. They are especially proud
of this victory because they were
playing against men well known
in territorial base ball circles.

tion as a traveling agent for a
drug and medicine house.

Miss Belle Temple, chief toll
operator, and Mr. Bert Curtis,
both of Oklahoma £ity, were the
guests of Mrs. James Tuttle on
Sunday.
Mrs, Wm. Goodrich of Okla-
homa City arrived Saturday to
visit her sister, Mrs. Jergensen,
and her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Baskins.
Mrs. C. H. DeFord returned
Monday from Oklahoma City,
where she was called on account
of the illness of her daughter,
Mrs. Will DeFord.
Mrs. S. M. Briggs returned
Saturday from a week's visit to
her daughter near Weatherford.
She is suffering from a severe
swelling of the arm and shoulder.

John Sharel says the $700,000
necessary to build the interurban
line through Edmond has been
raised and that work will begin as
soon as the new railroads going
into Oklahoma City get their
right-of-way troubles settled.
Mrs. Mary J. Marks returned
to her home in Canton, Mo., after
a six months' stay with her son
Rev. Marks. Paul M£rks ac-
companied her as far as Shelbine,
Mo., where he will spend the
summer with his grandfather
