Loads of Luscious Fruit
This is apple picking time in Old
Oklahoma and much of the fruit is
being brought over this way to mar-
ket livery day there are from one to
five Toads brought into Sapulpa where
a ready market is always found. The
quality of the apple crop this year is
excellent and when a big load of the
red cheeked variety is barked up in
front of a business house it makes a
'ellow think of hid boyhood days back
n the states. Kastern Oklahoma
raises just as good apples as Old Ok-
lahoma and in a few years when the
count)y is a little better developed
this part of the state will be produc-
ing enough apples to make .Missouri
take a back seat in her claim to being
the land of the big red apple.
