It seems almost impossible to be

Jack Walton took almost an bout
lit the democratic convention in Ol
lahoma Cit\ in • xplaluiiu his Shaw
nee platform to the delegates aftei
he had told them exactly whats its
provir.iqps were, as he viewed them,
t'.ie convention promptly voted his
platform down. He had told "the boys
from the forks of the creek" that he
would run through until November
• n that platform ap*d it remains to
be seen what he will do. Jack knew
when he was addressing the conven
lion that committee on resolutions
was at the moment tearing his plat
form up plank by plajvk, and he knew
that be had agreed to stand on the
modified document. The boys from
the forks of the creek" have only
been double c rossed again by a bunch
of smooth politicians. Those in the
convention saw their mistake and de
dared openly that they were support
ing Jack's platform and not Jack'?
"personality." ,
The democratic platform adopted
