said bonds aggregating the principal sum
of Seven Hundred and Sixty-five Thou-
sand Dollars S(765,000.00); and
Whereas, M. E. Trapp, of Oklahoma
City, Oklahoma, has heretofore purchased,
taken up and paid for a portion of said
bonds for a consideration of par and ac-
crued interest, and now has an option of
purchasing the balance of the entire is-
sue; and
Whereas. The said M. E. Trapp of Okla-
homa City, Oklahoma, has requested this
Board and the County Treasurer to trans-
mit said bonds to the First National Bank
of Guthrie, Oklahoma, for collection;
and
Now. Therefore. Be it resolved, by the
Board of County Commissioners of Creek
County. Oklahoma, in regular adjourned
session assembled, that the County
Treasurer be and he is hereby ordered
and directed to transmit said bonds to
the First National Bank of Guthrie, Okla-
homa, to be delivered to M. E. Trapp of
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, upon payment

Board of County Commissioners of Creek
County. Oklahoma, having convened in
regular session, after a regular call, pur-
suant to law, and it appearing that the
following member of said Board were
present, to-wit:

And it appearing that said meeting has
peen in all things lawfully convened, and
there coming on for hearing the applica-
tion of the Roxana Petroleum Company,
praying for authority to use certain high-
ways and public places of Creek County
for the purpose of laying pipe lines and
erecting a line or lines of poles with tele-
phone and telegraph wires thereon, and
said application having been duly consid-
ered, and It appearing that the same
ought to be granted,
Now. Therefore. It Is Ordered, Consid-
ered and Adjudged, that said Roxana Pe-
troleum Corporation its successors and
assigns are granted authority to use the
highways and public places of the Coun-
ty of Creek. State of Oklahoma, and to
,ay on through, over, under and across
the said highways and public places in
said County, pipers and pipe lines for the
transporation of oil, petroleum and (or
any of its products, gas, water, refined
oil and other substances) or any thereof,
with the right to construct, re-construct
replace, renew, maintain, repair, operate]
change the size of, and remove said
pipes and pipe lines.
There is also granted the said Roxana
Petroleum Corporation its successors or
assigns, the right to erect and maintain
upon, through, under, over and across
said highways and public places of the
County of Creek, State of Oklahoma a
line or line* of poles with telephone and
telegraph wires thereon, and also the
right to lay adjacent to and parallel with
the first pipe line or lines, other pipe
lines; and said grantee, its successors
and assigns, is granted the right of in-
gress and egress to and from said lines
or any of them, for the purpose of con-
struction, inspection, repairing, renewing,
operating changing the size of or re-
moving the same together with the right
of removal of such in whole or in part;
said grantee, its successors or assigns to
select the route of such line. Provided,
that all pipe laid under this authority
shall be buried to a proper depth and not
to interfere with the ordinary use for

CONTRACT.
This Agreement, made and entered Into
this 5th day of May, 1920. by and between
Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Creek. State of Oklahoma,
party of the first part, and L. 0. Shannon
of Perkins. Okla.. party of the second
part.
WITNESSETH: That party of the sec-
ond part agreesto furnish all material
required to be furnished and to perform
all labor necessary for the proper comple-
tion of certain work as more fully set
out and described in certain plans pre-
pared by the County Engineer and ap-
proved by the County Commissioners and
Department of Highways, which plans
and speciflcatiosn were carefully examin-
ed by the said second party before pro-
posal to construct works was made, and
are hereby adopted and made a part of
this agreement the same as if written
herein.
The said first party agrees to make pay-
ments to the said second party at times
and In the manner provided in the sjfid
plans and specifications and to the
amounts established in a certain proposal
to perform the work planned and speci-
fied, which proposal was made by the
said second party on the 5th day of May.
1920, and accepted by the first party of
this agreement, the same as if such ac-
cepted proposal were written herein.
The said second party agrees to furnlih
surety bond in the full amount of the
contract price for the work, based on the
approximate quantities furnished by the
first party and the accepted proposal
made by the second party, which bond
shall be conditioned the full compliance
by said second party with all terms of this
agreement, the plans and specifications
and the entire completion of the work,
within the time limit established. The
said second party agrees to furnish an
additional surety bond in the same
amount conditioned on the payment in
full by said second party of all bills, and
accounts for labor and material neces-
sary for the completion of such work.
Both surety bonds to be furnished by
companies authorised to execute such
bonds by the Insurance Commissioner ot
the State of Oklahoma.
The work shall be done under the direct
supervision of the County Engineer and to
his complete satisfaction, subject at all
times to his Inspection, and in accordaince
wth the laws of the State of Oklahoma,
and with the plans and specifications re-
ferred to In the first paragraph
This agreement together with the plans
and specifications, accepted proposals and
bonds, constitutes the entire agreement
between the parties hereto.
