JUROR BODY HAS
BEEN APPOINTED
Wellington E. Louek* City, It One of
Jury Commi iOn«r§ N m«d
Lucien B. Wright, judge in the
twenty-second Judicial district, today
I announced the names of the men
whom ho has appointed Jury cominis
sioners for Creek county tor 1920
They are J. E. KUidge, of Mannford;
Louis W Burton, of Shamrock; Rev.
Wellington E. Loucks, of Sapulpa.
The Judge has ordered these com-
missioners to convene at the court
house next Monday afternoon at 1
o'clock and to select 200 names for
Jurors for the Creek county court,
200 names for the superior court of
Drumright, 200 names for the super-
ior court of Sapulpa, and 40 names for
the district court.
In making the appointments the
judge accompanied each order by a
loiter similar to one sent Rev. Ixiucks.
The Louck's letter follows:
Rev. Wellington E. LouckB,
Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
Dear Sir: You doubtless will re-
call that 1 asked you your politics
while you were engaged in jury ser-
vice In the district court, remarking
that it would develop later why I
I asked the question. The enclosed or-
der appointing you one of the throe
jury commissioners for Creek county
I explains my object in asking you that
; question. The '.aw provides for the ap
pointment of one jury commissioner
from each commissioner's district, no
more than two of whom shall belong
to the same political party.—Sapulpa
