Charlie Brill, sport writer on The
Daily Oklahoman, has resigned to be- j
come a fight promoter in the capital
city. His real troubles now begin.

Spring sunshine and spring styles
arc already with us, but nobody has
yet reported the first robin. If politi-
cal candidates may be construed to
be harbingers of spring, the season is
well advanced.
It is one thing to be elected to of-

Some of the city officials are con-
sidering the much mooted and inter-
esting question: "How can 1 keep my

Leo Kelly will probably be here
Saturday or Sunday, or, at latest, the
early part of next week. Everything
is in readiness for the bout, March
second, between Kelly and Smith, and
the fans are all keyed up to witness
the best bout of the season. They will
not be disappointed, judging from
the calibre of the two principals. You
have to hand it to Curley for being
a sure-enough fighter, notwithstand-
ing some other characteristics which
do not meet with general approval,
lie will meet one of the best boys in
his division in the country. Both
fighters have the same tendency to
wade right in from the start, which
should make for a battle with plenty
of action.
