The Strand Next Week
Willard Riboson, manager of the
Maryland Musical Comedy company,
an organization of twelve clever peo-
ple, which will open a week's engage-
ment at the Strand Theatre, Sunday
afternoon, is carrying a company of
talented people. The Maryland Trio,
harmony singers, is a big feature of
the show. They joined the present
troupe in Kansas City a few weeks
ago.
Tom Cofer, who needs no introduc-
tion to Drumright theatre-goers, hav-
ing managed the Grand Theatre here
when it was in existence two years
ago, is leading with some of the snap-
piest comedy ever offered in a local
playhouse. He is very popular, as he
knows just how to dish out the laugh-
stuff.
Miss Flo Russell, the charming sou-
l ertte, will appear in late and popu-
lar song hits, singing some of Mr. j
Robison's late compositions, such as
"The Oklahoma Blues," and others.
She carries the praise and admiration
of hundreds of theatre-goers from
l other cities where she has appeared.
This company plays at the Strand
: one week and will offer nothing but
i new, up-to-date comedy plays and
musical numbers by their beauty cho-
rus.—Adv. 198-lt.

The Idle Hour
"Her Mother's Sweetheart." is the
title of a one-reel Laemmle drama,
featuring Edith Roberts to be shown
at the Idle Hour Theatre this even-
ing in connection with "What Dar-
win Missed," a comedy drama of the
Victor brand. Besides all this, Jane
Gail and Matt Moore, two of Amer-
ica's cleverest comedians, appear in
"The Come-On," a picture unexcelled
in the one-reel class. Two other good
features will be added to the pro-
gram, making it very interesting. To-
Chaplin to "pull one" in his big
tual success, "The Floor-Walker.
