Thrifty people are not Bolshevist.
"Reds" "I. W. W.V and other radicals are
drawn from the class of people who want
something for nothing. A man who has his
own home and money in the bank can't be
a bolshevist at heart. Whcjn he gets the
home he is cured of the idea of confiscating
everything no matter how radical he might
have been. The saving habit sticks with
him.
Encourage saving. If you are an em-
ployer encourage the men and women you
employ to save their money. Start an ac-
count of your own as a good example. Start
an account to take care of insurance inter-
est and other fixed expenses and encourage
your employes to do likewise. Explain to
them how easily they can acquire the saving
habit and show them that they can soon
make the first payment on a home take a
trip or do any one of a hundred things they
have wanted to do but couldn't for lack of
money. Help them. It will pay you.
Savings accounts draw 40 interest.
