This has been proven by the hustlers
who so recently took hold of the.
question of the aviation meet for
this city and put their shoulders to
the wheel and pushed things alon;;
until the requited bonus was raised.
As stated in the Ardmoreite of yes-
terday the bij event Is now assured.
Tile citizens committee selected by
the business men of the city got
busy and did things 'right now."
A general committee consisting of
such well known public spirited 'bus-
iness men a3 J. V. Krueger P. C.
Dings and Val Mullen was selected
and at once went to work. Within
a very short time arer the selec-
tion of this committee things hegtin
to happen and tickets necessary to
secure the meet were disposed of in
shot t order.
This committee has been retained

general sale of tickets.
As said before these few men have
shown What can be done and we
tr.ist that all who take a pride in
their home town will now come to
the front and help this cause along1.
Ardmore Is one of the best Known
cities in the southwest. This aerial
meet has been given wide publicity
and telegrams of inquiry have al-
ready began coming in making in-
quiries a.s to the date and all other
Information that may be obtainable.
A city just the same as a business
needs advertising. Too much can not
oe said of the great goofl that can
be accomplished by a thorough and
systematic advertising of a city. And
nothing of late has come within the
reach of the people of Ardmore
that will afford them the Fame
amount of notoriety abroad as will
thia "flying meet.'
For this reason we trust that the
citizens generally w ill prove them
selves in the future as they have In
th-? past good hustlers "gams
sports" Ardmoreites and help the
good cause along.
