died at his home here today of r-aeu-
monia. He was 09 years of ace.
He was a I'nion captain of the
civil war and lieutenant colonel of
volunteers in the Spanish-American
war. He closed his congressional ca-
reer in the Cist congress to which
he was elected as a republican.
The local aerie of Kagles had a big
time last night at the installation of
the new officers of that order. Fol-
lowing the installation the members
were tendered a supper.
