in a very instructive manner anil much
to the point regarding the necessity
of promptness in dealing with fires
digressing long enough to speak of the
talue of the minute in the lives of stu-

and women. The right use of the
minute is the key tu success. Supt.

Hut if there was snow or per-

because there was snow the pupils
of Ihe high .-chool and third
hail a. great day of it Friday. Snow
Is too rare a treat in this part of
Oklahoma nol to lie taken advantage
of. A game of football had been
scheduled between the senior class
and the rest of the school. It was
tiirne into a snow battle in.-tead.
The best good spirit prevailed ami
the battle raged long and strong..
The victory only a technical one
seemed to rest in favor of the low-
er classmen. The seniors were not
entirely driven from the field how-
ever. Friday was a fine day in many
respects. .Moot congress had one
of its liveliest sessions. Pi.-cusslon
in the senate continued up till ad-
journing time and still the sH'akers
were not nearly half throiiglill A spe-
cial meeting was called to meet
next Tuesday at which time the bill
deporting to Africa the negroes of
the I'nite! Slates will he finally
passed upon. Two or three amend-
ments to the bill will have lo lie
first disposed of. A the Friday
session the following senators made
many friends of the school. Many
courtesies are extended to the school
