The state organization of County Com
missioners will meet In Ardmore In
annual session on Monday December
11 and the organization will be in
session three days. The meeting
will 1 held in the new county
courthouse and the first session will
j le called to order at 2:30 o'clock in
the afternoon of December 11. Judge
Stillwell H. Russell will deliver the
welcome address and the response
will be made by Commissioner D.
F. Kills of Murray county. The clay
will close with a free opera at the
Robison opera bouse.
On the secod day under the head
of remarks for the good of the order
jand for the good of the taxpayers
of the slate a lively discussion of

istate equalization boar! promises to

be very interesting and of vast Im-
portance to the people In all the
counties of the state. Some of th
best lawyers In the state will ad-
dress the commissioners on this sub-
ject and It is of importance to the
taxpayers in each county that their
commissioners be at this session.
.Another feature of the second day
-will be an address by A. A. Acheson
United States poatofflce inspector
la which he will tell of rural deliv-
ery of mail and the importance of
road districts. The second day will
close with a banquet at the Chicka-
saw Lake four miles from the city
which is one of the finest resorts in
the state.
The third day will be devoted to
unfinished business and to the elec-
tion of officers and t;ie selection of
the next place of meeting.
The city of Ardmore has contrib-
uted a fund sufficient to entertain
the commissioners and a recent'on
will be given to the ladies who at-
