sand i lav roads thai is a mixture
of both sand and clay in such pro

will remain moist in dry weather or
the original clay bottom will stay

IUKING the summer of 1911 there will he thousands of homeseeken;
visit Oklahoma. Farmers in the old settled states are disposing of their
lands and are comin; here where they can buy four acres of as good land as
they own there for the price they sell one acre for.
Ardmore can he made the Mecca of every visitor to Oklahoma. We can do
much to have them purchase their tickets so they will read "To Ardmore." If
Carter county will get in to the game and send out their advertising matter the
railway companies will catch the fever and they will begin a campaign of adver-
tising Southern Oklahoma lands.
The initiative is with us. The opportunity is before us and we willl suc-
ceed beyond our expectations if we make it our business to locate farmers on the
lands they desire to till and to protect them in their investments
The Keal Estate Exchange of Ardmore and Carter County is organized
for that purpose. All we need to do is to let the people know what we have to
oiler and there are thousands ready to take what we are not using and they will
buy and use it to contribute to tlie wealth of the county.
The Ardmoreite during the early part of June will issue a Home Seekers'
Edition. Every town in Carter county will be visited by an Irishman with a
camera and farm orchard and ranch scenes will be made.
A descriptive writer may draw somewhat on his imagination but the
photogragh tells the story as it exists. This Home-Seekers' Edition will tell
the story in photographs.
Every subscriber to either the Daily or Weekly Ardmoreite is entitled to
have ten of these papers sent free to his relatives and friends living away from
here. Send in your names from one to ten and they will be cared for until
the piper is issued and papers will be sent to each address. Write names
plainly on one side of the paper only. Send in your names at once.
