WHO WON THE WAR?
It is becoming a self-evident fact that Germany will have won
the war if by any means they can prevent the formation of the
limetless power of the World's League of Nations. Their system of
esponage is now at work thruout the world and is apparently winning
victories over their late enemies, who called them defeated, by ar-
rousing jealousies between the nations supposed to have conquered
them.
Their supreme efforts is to destroy all attempte to secure a
world peace. Already they are organizing the chaotic masses of
by Russia arranging to absorb its material wealth. With the League
of Nations defeated, there is no power that can hold them in check
and as a result of the war that will have made Russia their limitless
measure of spoils, GERMANY HAS WON THE WAR AND
"WILL FINALLY CONQUER THE WORLD.
German agents are dilligently at work in this country in an
effort to arouse hatred and jealousy against England. Many for-
get the fact that England's colonies are as free peoples as can be
found anywhere and that she is not militaristic nor a menace to
the World.
Judging by the past, have we not every reason to ex-
pect that German agents will do everything in their power to pre- T-bone Steak, per pound 28c

0 YE N0M-FOLKS Of GARBER:
In keeDing with our policy of Better Service for our cus-
tomers, we wish to announce our New Builder's Service
Department. We have secured the complete " YE
PLANRY " Service, with its large selection of actual phto-
graphsof modern homes, each with floor plan and estimated
cost. We have arrayed a corner of our store with these
photographs which we call our Model Home Display.
This is interesting and attractive to builders, it's pretty
too, and we are proud of it. We invite you to call and
look over this selection of desiges and we know you will
agree with us that here is the finest collection of Modern
Homes ever assembled.
These are the same homes that are featured in the Ladies
Home Journal, Hollands Magazine and other national pub-
lications as well as the larger city Home Building Cam-
paigns.
We have always felt that a customer of ours was entitled
to more than lumber—that it was our duty to help you
get the most home value for your money—to see that the
lumber you bought would build a home that would be a
source of pride and satisfaction to you and then too it
would be a source of pride and satisfaction to us— an asset
to the community and an incentive to other folks to build.
That's where we profit.
If you are thinking of building, visit this display—you
will find it interesting and helpful. If your friend or neigh-
bor speaks of building tell them of us. They will appreci-
ate it and so will we. While we anticipate that this Service
Department will likely increase our business still the great-
est reward we ask is the satisfaction of knowing that we
are helping our fellow citizens acquire better homes and
are contributing to the growth and development of our
city. These are rewards that are above the dollar standard
