1 he road will enter the state east of Vinita and will go in a westerly —
direction, psslng through Bartlesville, Pawhuska, Billings and Enid and
westw aid ni til it reaches Fairview, Major county, where its present terminus
is planned. The contract price is $8,000,000. In thirty days Mr. Lovo will
have one thousand men at work and in two months will have tlir. e times that
number employed.
He Will start one thousand teams, a number of steam shovels, and as
f ist as (he grade is completed, will begin building bridges and putting do.vn
rails. And then when the bridges are built and the rails are all laid he will
receive. $8,000,000 when he turns the completed road and its equipment over to
the company.
During the past ten years Mr. Love has done contracting work for the
Burlington, Illinois Central, Big Four, Wisconsin Central ynd Lake Shore,
His Oklahoma contract is the bigc-'st of the year.
