A two-year-old child whose
name is un-known was run-
over last night by a buggy
driven by Mrs. Baird on the
corner of Grand and Harvey.
The accident occured about
7 ;30 o'clock when the streets
were thronged with people.
The child was badly bruised
about the head but received
no very serious injuries.

Marshal
In City
R. M. Denney, city mar-
shal of Anadarko, came over
yesterday afternoon and spent
last night in the city attend-
ing the statehood celebration.
He returned home today.
E. (i. Muth an extensive
real estate dealer from Rich-
land, Mo., arrived last night
accompanied by Mrs. Muth
and they expect to remain in
the city for several days.
While here they are guests
at the Grand Avenue.
