eph M. Johnson, deceased, that on
the 23rd day of October, 1909, C. C.
Taylor produced and filed in the
County Court of the County of Gar-
field and State of Oklahoma, an in-
strument in writing purporting to
be a duly authenticated copy of the
last will and testament of Joseph M.
Johnson, deceased, and also filed in
said court his petition praying for
the probate of said will, and that
Letters Testamentary issue thereon
to him as the administrator, with
the will annexed, said will having
been executed in Kansas, the place
of residence of the testator, and
duly authenticated copy of the pro-
bate thereof in the Probate Court of
Sumner County, Kansas, having
been filed with said petition.
Pursuant to an order of said
court made on the 23rd day of Octo-
ber, 1909, notice is hereby given
that Wednesday the 10th day of No-
vember, 1309, at the hour of ten
o'clock a. m. of said day, that being
a day of the regular October term,

One of the easiest going, moei shift-
less individuals that ever drifted
through life, too lazy to travel any way
except with the current, was Sam Doo-
little. Sam was born tired and never
outgrew it. Being behindhand was a
chronic complaint with him. and It
finally got so that nobody really ex-
pected anything else of him.
In the course of time Sam died. The
funeral arrangements had been made
and the announcement sent out, when,
owing to other engagements of the of-
ficiating clergyman, it was found nec-
essary to change the time to an hour
ahead, and as a consequence the body
reached the cemetery considerably
