On Tuesday night, Jas Taylor,
a farmer living one and one-half
miles from Wellston called at the
residence of Isaac C. Rhine post-
master of that place. Mr, Rhine's
daughter responded to the call, she
was informed that he (Taylor) de-
sired to see her father. Mr. Rhine
came to the door and was in the act
of opt-ning it when Taylor fired
the contents of his shot gun at
him. Mr. Rhine died in a short
time.
It is alleged that Taylor accus-
ed Rhine of being intimate with
his wife.
The murdered man is about fifty-
five years old and leaves a wife and
three daughters.
