the different peoples who are being op-
pressad by Turkey. Including the young
Turks, Armenians, Greeks Bulgarians,
Albians, Jews and Arabs, held a secret
congress in this city today It was
unanimously decided to organize in
common action to overthrow the pres
ent Turkish government and for the
s'ibstitution of a libera', constitutions
and parliamentary regime. The de
talis of this revolutionary program
were not published. Armenians, Tutk«,
and Bulgarians in America were rep
resented at the congress.

Last Friday the wind reached a
velocity greater than ever before re
corded in Oklahoma. The weather
oureau at Oklahoma City records the
following:
With an average velocity of more
than 40 miles an hour for five hours
and with a maximum of 61 miles a1

swept across Oklahoma from the north

to weaiher bureau reports. A velocity
of 60 miies per hour was reached
March II, 1899, and January 22,
1906. The maximum temperature
was 46 degrees at 3 p. m., and the
minimum 38 d grees at 9 a. m.
