Dear Sir: At a meeting of the Indian
Territory World's Fair Executive
committee, held in Muskogee, Sept. 25,
1901, the following resolution was
adopted:
To the Chairman of the World's Fair
Executive Committee:
We, your committee on resolutions
beg leave to report as follows:
Be it resolved, by the Indian Terri-
tory World's Fair Executive committee
that a general Indian Territory
World's Fair convention be called to
meet at Holdenville, I. T., at 10 o'clock
a. m.f Oct. 28, 1901, and that repre-
sentation to said convention be as
follows, to-wit: One delegate and one
alternate for each postoffice in the In-
dian Territory, and one delegate and
one alternate for each 500 population
or major portion thereof in all Terri-
tory towns; and be it
Resolved, That mass meetings be
called in the respective localities by
the mayors, chairmen of the local bus-
iness organizations, or postmasters, on
Saturday, Oct. 19th, or as soon there-
after as practicable for the purpose of
electing said delegates,

For three days and nights I suf-
