"I am only 82 years old and don't
expect even when I get to be real old
to feel that way as long as I can get
Electric Bitters," says Mrs. E. H. Brun-
son, of Dublin, Ga. Surely there's
nothing else keeps the old as young
and makes the weak so strong as this
grand tonic medicine. Dyspepsia, tor-
pid liver, inflamed kidneys or chronic
constipation are unknown after tak-
ing Electric Bitters a rrasonable time.

States attorney, spent yesterday in
the city conferring with John W. Sco-
thorn, who is in charge.
"I will qualify just as soon as my
commission arrives," said Mr. Embry
"and this will probably be the middle
of next week.
'I will return to Chandler tonight
and will be T>usy there for about two
weeks."
Rev. David Wahl Spoke to Large Con-
gregation.
The Methodist Church was crowded
yesterday morning, when Rev. Wahl,
pastor of the Eden church in St. Louis,
delivered one of the finest sermons
ever heard here. It is not alone
what Rev. Wahl says that holds the
attention of the audience, but the way
in which he says It. He is a power-
ful speaker and although a young man,
ranks among the highest In the pro-
fession and words of praise were heard
on every side by those who attend-
ed the services Sunday morning and
doubtless Rev. Wahl accomplished
much good, at least his words sank
deep into the minds of the listeners.
At the conclusion of the service many
expressed their thanks and apprecia-
tion for such an able sermon.
Rev. David Wahl, who has been the
guest cf his sister, Mrs. C. C. Weber,
and family, for sereval days, left to-
day for Oklahoma City, where he will
spend a few days with his parents,
Rev. and Mrs. John Wahl, and other
relatives, after which he will return
to his home in St. Louis, In time to
conduct the services of the Eden
church, of which he is pastor, next Sun-
day.

Modest Claims Often Carry the Motl
Conviction.
When Maxim, the famous gun inven-
tor, placed his gun before a committee
of judges, he stated its carrying power
to be much below what he felt sure
the gun would accomplish. The result
of the trial was therefore a great sur-
prise, Instead of a disappointment. It
is the same with the manufacturers
of Chamberlain's Colic, Cholera and
Diarrhoea Remedy. They do not pub-
licly boast of all this remedy will
accomplish, but prefer to let the us-
-s mako the statements. What they
lo claim. Is that it will positively cure
diarrhoea, dystentary, pains In the
stomach and bowels and has never
been known to fail. Sold by the Owl
Drug Store, C. R. Harryman, F. A.
Reynolds & Son.
At a meeting of the 1 Chamber of
Commerce and the representatives of
the Deka Development Company Sat
urday night, the necessity of adver-
tising Shawnee was gone over thor-
oughly. R. D. Benson of New York,
after discussing the prospects of the
city, stated that the Deka Develop-
ment Company would give $1 for ev-
ery $20 raised by the city for adver-
tising purposes, that is, if the city
raises $20,000, the company will con
tribute .$1,000. Messrs. Willis E. Fer-
tig and L. K. Hyde seconded Mr
Benson's offer.

ailments arising from disorder of the
stomach and digestion. Take a little
