A good audience greeted the Normnn
Comedy company In the presentation
of the popular drama, "Turn of tho
tide," at tho Senwell hall here Friday
evening. Considering the brief time
the company have been practicing they
did exceedingly well and the various
IMirts wore well played. The music
too, was excellent and thoroughly ap-
preciated, tho closing chorus by the
entire company pleasing the audience
well. Norman hits considerable musi-
cal and dramatic talent and wo trust
that the people will often have the
pleasure of observing it.

The latest and one of the best novel-
ties for 1BU1 isnn elegant Carnation,
growing on long stems, u free bloomer
with large flowers, of an oxquisite
shade of pink, something entirely dif-
ferent from anything in Carnations.
This flower is destined to become a
Brent favorite among tho florists, us
the ladies prise it very highly for cor-
sage boquets and decorative purposes
generally. The endorsement of the
old firm of James Vick, Rochester, N.
V., who introduce this plant, is enough
to assure tho public that It is all they
claim for it. Tho prico is only 50 cents
each, three for $1.2o, six for $i.25, doz.
f no; but a better way would be to
send 10 cent for Viok's Floral Guide
and the 10 cents can be deducted from
the first order forwarded for seeds.
