Dragoo filed in the probate court of
the County of Pottawatomie and Ter-
ritory of Oklahoma a petition praying
for letters of administration to be is-
sued to Jesse M. Dragoo upon the es-
tate of George W. Rush, deceased, late
of Pottawatomie County and Territory

E. Welter, a farmer living with
his family ten miles west of Violet in
this county, was brought Into Shawnee
Wednesday night by deputy sheriff
John Hatfield. He was declared by
doctors Edward M. Harris and J. S.
McDonald of Konowa to be of unsound
mind and in their affidavit they stated
that they deemed him unsafe to be
left .with his family. He is rather an
old man and small sized and inoffen-
sive looking, although he has the wild,
blank stare of the feeble minded. He
was taken over to Tecumseh where
the insanity board will pass on his
case and assign him to the state in-
stitution if deemed necessary. It is
thought that he has gone nutty on re-
ligion and lost his mind through fan-
