ES AND CONVENTION.
Republicans, you are hereby notified |
that the Republicans of the City I'l cONWAY, I. T.,
BURIED TREASURES? HIS HEINOUS GRIME
Shawnee are hereby called to meet in
caucus on March 15, 1906, between the
hours of 1 and 2 o'clock p. m., In the
various wards to select delegates at a
ratio of one delegate for every 20 votes
11 cast for Frank P. Stearns for Mayor of
' said city at the last election, or major
fraction thereof, to participate in a par-
ty convention to be held at 2 p. m.,
March 17, 190C, to nominate a candi-
date for City Assessor; that said cau-
cus shall name a candidate for Coun-
cilman and member of the Board of
Education from each ward of said city,
and shall elect one member of the
City Central Committee from each
ward of said city.
The ratio of representation to said
convention shall be:
1st Ward, six (6) delegates.
2d Ward, seven (7) delegates.
3d Ward, eight (8) delegates.
4th Ward, eleven (11) delegates.
6th Ward, six (6) delegates.
6th Ward, three (3) delegates.
The following shall be tne places M
which said caucuses shall be held in
the various wards:
First ward—Williams' hide house,
N. Bell street.
Second ward—Auditorium new city
hall.
Third ward—Farray brick building.
Fourth ward—Milner's barn, Union
avenue (formerly the Davis barn).
Fifth ward—716 East Main street.
Sixth ward—Wallace's barn, Dewey
and Beard streets.
The said convention shall he held
in the auditorium of the new city hall
at the hours named above, and the ac-
tion of the caucuses in the various
wards In selecting candidates for coun
cilmen and members or the school
nlture, and will conduct a first. claBS' board, and for selecting ward commit
teemen, shall be final.
