Christmas Is Near!
Christmas witK its radiance of good cheer and rejoicing is fast
approaching.
Just to know the glorious day will soon he here makes our
hearts heat with gladness.
How are you going to celehrate the day?
How are you going to express your joy?
Though you no longer listen with delightful expectancy for the
coming of Santa Claus the pleasure which you will derive in
making little children happy on this day of days will be infi-
nitely greater than that experienced in your juvenile years.
Make this the children's day. Their happiness is not depend-
able upon the amount expended. Let no little unfortunate child
feel that it is beyond the range of your good will and generosity
Now you realise that to be a giver it far superior than to be a getter tbat tbc
givers are the favorite ones.
At this season of kindly opportunity tbc Christmas spirit asks nothing for itself
only implores you to give lavishly of your love friendship and good cheer to your
fellow men.
It begs of you to remember tbat it is a day to forget alt animosities
Tbat gifts of priceless value not purcbasable by money which bring hope to the
hopeless friendship to the lonely encouragement to the weary a message of uplift
to the discouraged and gifts of human sympathy which lightens the burdens or
those who have to greet the day with tear-dimmed eyes are gifts which may be
within your power to shower upon others though you may not be possessed with
much worldly wealth.
This is the season to scatter happiness. In just being happy ourselves. t can
tribute to the gladsomeness of others.

which shall be aglow with the spirit of happiness and a feeling of kisihip for other.
