ficially sanctioned the movement and
granted n chapter charter.
The meeting was the result of the
successful launching of n similar
movement In Tulsa several days ago.

with the lted Cross work was the
principal speaker nt the meeting here
today. He told of the work which
such nn organization Is expected to
do during the present crisis and also
of the functions to he performed In
the event of any great local disaster.

More than one hundred local Ma-
sons left here over the Kafy Sunday
night at midnight on a special train
bound for McAlester where they will
attend the annual spring reunion that
opened yesterday and will close Thurs-
day night.
Seventy candidates made the trip in
