MISSIONER DISTRICT.
I am a eandadate for re-election as
Commissioner for the Lawton dis-
trict. I want a second term. It was
necessi.ry for me during the entire
first term to fi^ht a combination of
two of the Commissioners and the
county engineer on the road and
bridge work and the buying of ma-
terials, and while I was out voted, *
broke the combination and showed the
taxpayers what was being done to
them, in a financial way. In all this
fight I stood up for the taxpayers and
made the fight for them, in the fact of
all kinds of abuse. At all times I have
favored the home laboring people, and
iielieve that home labor should b-i em-
ployed for home work. If given a sec-
ond term, I believe I can do :>.ore for
them than the first term, as I will not
have a combination to fight. I solicit
your vote.

pressing on Lemberg.
It was the same story Thursday, the
Russians were twelve miles from
Brodi. Saturday the occupation of the

FROM Jl;DGE BAILEY.
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: j
By reason of my official duties a§
District Judge of the Fifteenth Judi-j
cial District, I had occasion frequent- J
ly to hold court in Lawton while Mr.
Henry Murphy was serving as deputy
court clerk. It gives me pleasure to
say in behalf of Mr. Murphy that his
services as deputy court clerk were in
my judgment efficient. I found him
always courteous, painstaking and ac- j
{curate in his work and 1 believe him
in every way qualified to fill the office:
of Court Clerk.
Yours very truly,
(Adv.) FRANK M. BAILEY.

I am running for Court Clerk not
because they say I am a good fellow;
not because the county owes me a pen-
sion; not because I am - member of
any particular lodge or Other organi-
zation; but because I have a business
proposition to put to the voters of
this county.
Mr. Voter if I am nominated and
elected Court Clerk of Comanche
County I will save the county and tax-
payers $1800.00 in deputy service-
plus $1000.00 in' expe.ince over and
above the claims of my opponent. I
am the only candidate in the field who
has pledged to cut out a deputy. I
have certificates of efficiency from the
present District Judge and the E::-
District Judge of this District and men
who know what efficiency and exper-
ience means to the office of Coun
Clerk and my record since 1 have been
a deputy and had charge of the office
of Clerk of the District Court and
Court Cle-' <s open to the public and
tacked by t..e report of the State Ex-
aminer and Inspector of tbis stat •; the
liousecleaning department of Oklaho-
ma. I could figure you numerous ways
in which an experinced man can save
thousands of dollars for the county
but cost of space prohibits.
If experince, energy, economy and
honesty count anything vote for Mu -
phy and you will vote for your pocket
book and good economical govern-
ment.
