Joe Clark is one of the best known
men of the county. Ho is a native of
Missouri and came to Oklahoma and
Comanche county eight years ago

THE SENATORIAL SITUATION.
There hag been much speculation of
late regarding the senatorial situa-
tion with reference to Senator T. P.
Gore and possible opposition, i- the
primary.
Since the Gore suit has ended and
things settled down to a fairly steady
basis in the state, it is our opinion
that there will be no material opposi-
tion to United States Senator Gore.
It has been a constant rumor for
months that Justice Sam Hayes would
enter the race against Senator Gore,
but we are of the decided opinion that
this will not occur and that Judge
Hayes will not be a candidate against
Senator Gore. We do not say this
from any information we have
ceived from ony source, but from the
general application of common sense
and political honesty.
