vention of the State Medical As-
sociation, which was held at
Enid, last Wednesday.
Mrs. T. F. Addington left Sat-
urday for an extended visit with

Miss Addie Harris returned
Wednesday from Verden, Okla.
where she has been visiting with

fisher, and Mrs. Rhodyback, of
Mountain Park, visited this week
with their mother, Mrs. Rosa

Miss Inez Babb has resigned
her position with the Bass Mer-
cantile Co., and has accepted a
position with the Mulvey Mer-
cantile Co.
Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Belisle
and sons Robert and Benjamin,
left Wednesday for their old
home in Appleton City, Mo.,
where they will visit with rela-
tives and friends for about three
weeks.
A. A. Hazelton visited from
Sunday until Wednesday of this
week with relatives near Look-
eba, Caddo county. His wife,
who has been visiting there for
the past two weeks returned
with him.
Miss Francis Carson attended
the Pioneer's Chief Operators
convention which was held at
Ardmore the first part of the
week. Miss Bertie Chappel has
been working in her place.
The Patron's club held a
special meeting at the school
house last Wednesday morning
for the purpose of adjusting
schbol matters and to see about
ordering new books for the
school library.
The lecture at the Baptist
church last Thursday night by
Mr. McKinney was well attend-
ed. The lecture was under the
auspices of the boy scouts and
after the lecture a collection
was taken up for the scouts, and
a good little sum was realized.
Some say "swat the fly" we
say "catch the fly," and thus
destroy him as well as the disease
germs that he is known to carry
