avenues and alleys in the City of
Guthrie, State of Oklahoma.
Be It resolved «t>> the Mayor and
Councilmen of the City of Guthrie,
Urst: That it is deemed necessary I ..
curb, drain and otherwise improve, in-
cluding the installation of all man-
holes, catch basins and necessary
drainage pipes. Street Improvement
District No. 45, Washington A\ •enue
from the East line of Vino street to
the West line of Division street, said
improvement to be 40 feet in width
and composed of sheet asphalt on a
Inch concrete base with combined
concrete curb and gutter.
Second: That this resolution shall
be published In six (6) consecutive Is-
sues, exclusive of Sundays and holi-
days, in the Oklahoma State Capital,
a newspaper of general circulation In
said city of Guthrie.
Third; That if the owners of more
than one-half In area of the land lia-
ble to assessment to pay for such im-
provements of said highways shall not
within fifteen (15) days after the lust
publication of this resolution. Ille with

such improvement, then the City
Council shall cause such Improvement
to be made and contracted for at the
expense of such abutting lots, pieces
or parcels of ground and street or
steam railways us provided by law in
