made an arrest wherein occasioned con-
siderable excitement and it was first
thought lie had been struck, but on ,
investigation it was found that death j
was caused by heart failure.
Mr. Warren was a member of the!
first board of county commissioners of
Lincoln county. He leaves a wife and

association is getting out advertising mat-
ter for t« o days of spring races, to be held

Wheat is looking better in this section
of the country than it has been in the past
two or three years, and the recent rains
insures an abnudant crop.
Geary is steadily building There are
several residence buildings going up. The
Masonic lodge I .us .selected a sit. for their

banquet room.s above. The Odd Fellows
arp also to build a similar building. The
Geary Opera House company has secured
the ground for tln-lr building and in a
short time will have completed arrange-
ments to begin work on it. and Judging
from their plans It will be an up to date
opera house.
The new depot having been accepted by
the railroad company, th< y • xpect to be
in their new quarters in a short time, they
have been r> arranging their yards and
putting in s.-vtral new switches, greatly
increasing their yard capacity.

is coming to the front rapidly. With
a population of 400 entei |ir .-ing. up-
to-date citizens her prosperity is of

interests of their city.
That the Orient railroad will in fie
