iworthy man. Mr. Holes is on the

pieces will be given to the republicans
of his stripe. In fact, the original Me-
Kinley men are in fashion just now,
and Mr. Holes happens to be one of
the truest of the clan, llis office was
besieged this morning by republican
politicians of all sizes and classes, and

body. A representative of the Demo-
Patriot pushed hia way through
crowd of hungry office seekers
into Mr. Boles's office Uiis morning
was received in tuat whole-heart-
lanner so characteristic of Mr.
Boles. We began at once to fire ques-
tions at him regarding Oklahoma's in-
ests at the national capital.

getting along at Washington?
The Barnes men appear to be very
well pleased. Mr. Barnes' appoint-

doubt about his confirmation. The

"Oklahoma has been blessed with

as we are too far from the markets to

ture passed a law inviting cattlemen
from Texas and elsewhere to bring in
