CANCEROUS
mm m Are in many respects like other ulcers^-
%Jf L fZm Hi sores, anil this resemblance often proves fatal.
Valuable time is lost in fruitless efforts to heai
the sore with washes and salves, liecause the germs of Cancer that are multi-
plying in the blood and the new Cancer cells which are constantly develop-
ing keep up the irritation and discharge, and at last sharp shooting pains
announce the approach of the eating and sloughing stage, and a hideous,
sickening cancerous sore begins its
destructive work. In February, 1S09, I noticed a email
No ulcer or sore can exist with- 'u™p lowerllp. The doctor can-
_ ,. . , terized it but another came and broke
out sonic predisposing internal cause out into an open sore. I bejran to take
that lias poisoned the blood, and the 8. 8. S. and after I had taken eeven bot-
open discharging ulcer, or the fester- tlel tb" place healed entirely and no
ing sore on the lip, cheek or other of ^BroTn, SK^Va"
part of the body will continue to
spread and eat deeper into the flesh unless the blood is purified and the
Cancer germs or morbid matter eliminated from the circulation.
S. S. S. cleanses the blood of all decaying effete matter. It has great
antidotal and purifying properties that soon destroy the germs and poisons
and restore the blood to its natural condition. And when pure blood is
carried to the ulcer or sore the healing process
begins, the discharge ceases and the place heals
over and new skin forms. S. S. S. is a strictly vege-
table blood purifier containing no mercury or
minerals of any description.
If you have an ulcer or chronic sore of any kind, write us about it, medi-
cal advice will cost you nothing. Books on Cancer and other diseases"'
the blood will be sent free. THE SWIFT SPECIFIC CO., Atlanta, Ga.^

The truth has just leaked out touch
ing Governor Barnes' speech at the
Oklahoma City Republican social club
feast.
It will be remembered that on this I
occasion Barnes was vitriollic to 4b25
degrees Fahrenheit. In a set, studied I
spe">h he poured hot souo, well sea-
soned with Winchester sauce and cay-
enne pepper Into the Flynn-Grlmes
combination. With remarkable venom
he flayed the misleaders o£ the Repub-
lican machine.
The machine was surprised over
Barnes' action and immediately set
about to find the motive for Barnes'
denunciation.
The motive was Anally developed.
Barnes' effort was inspired by Sey-
mour Price, and the speech Barnes de-
livered was culled and edited by Byrd
McGuire. The object of the speech
was to rattle and disorganize the ma-
chine gang. The effort was good.
On January 5, Barnes, Price and Mc-
Guire held a star chamber conference
at the Lee hotel in Oklahoma City. At
this meeting Price unfolded his plans.
Barnes took to it like a dry, parched
man sucking up Culmbacher. The
play as framed was to set off a series
of knocks against Flynn. Price and
McGuire sent out emissaries and in
every county Flynn poison was put
out.

could have gotten into the game and
McGuire withdrawn. McGuire was
forced to stand finally by Governor
Ferguson, who although not actively
interested in the Price-Barnes in-
trigue, was kept informed of what
was on foot. At klnid Barnes and
Price were in frequent consultation
and three McGuire delegations were
fixed by these two men. The dele-

was merely a toy. Having tasted vic-
tory Barnes and Price will make fur-

Barnes is fixing up campaign material
for McGuire, while Grimes lays the
