Stroud sn ihs Ve'gs
Bis OH s&oom
The general sentiment and be-
lief around here is that Stroud is
on the verge of a boom. With
drilling north of Stroud just brib-
ing a bU gas well at the Bartles-
ville sand, and drilling east of
here under good headway and
drilling southeast of here at the
Gypsy and the Leader ranch well
with botii showings of oil and gas
an 1 the surveyors west of town,
laying out the preparatory work
for building cf a tank farm tilings
are looking rather good l or Stroud.
Many new people coming here
and there is not a vacant house
in town. Many realestate deals
have transpired during the past
few days and many people are
buying lots and a large nnmber of
new residences will soon be un-
der course of construction..
Several Geological men have
be^n working out of Stroud for
the past two months and the re-
port is out there will soon be sev-
eral new derricks to go up.
The report from Tulsa is that
things are going to be turned
loose about October 1st down this
way, and that there will be some-
doing in the oil industry line.
