Convention Tomorrow.
HOME ENDORSEMENT.
The county democratic convention
will convene tomorrow at 2 o'clock
in the district court room for the pur-
pose of selecting seven delegates to
the Oklahoma City convention, also
to elect a chairman of the County
Central Committee. It is an uncer-
tainty at this time whether Wilson
or Clark has a majority of the dele-
gates
We feel safe in saying that a large
majority of the Wilson supporters
have the utmost friendly feel-
ing among the Clark supporters is the
same towards Wilson.
This being true we believe that
the seven delegates elected should
be instructed to work in harmony
by sending a delegation to Balti-
more who will favor either Wilson
or Clark for the presidential nomina
tion. A delegate is expected to carry
out the wishes of his constituents
and a failure to do so is a breach of
trust In tomorrow's convention
harmony should prevail and the in-
terests of the party protected
Not in years has the democratic
party had such an opportunity to win
a national election, and if the party
leaders will carry out the wishes of
their constituents victory will come
