Building Block f.— We claim our
Portland Concrete Stone Blocks as
good or better than brick. We make
them tUTKIt PROOF without the use
of damagint chemicals, a 24 hoar test
on our blocks showing only a 5-11 ^er
cent moisture absorbed. Brick ore ad-
missible with 10 per cent and it Is com
mon to use brick lor buildings that ab-
sorb this amount. It is up to the
builder now that we have a water
proof natural block. Remember this.

SnrvevBs at Fori Sill—Take
Charge Today.
Drs. Turner and Dunlap were hon-
ored yesterday by an appointment,
tendered them by Capt. Ranger of Fort
Sill, which make them post surgeons
A vacancy, at the post, was caused
by the transfer of Dr. Lewis, who was
sent to the Philippine Islands to take
charge of surgery at some post
there. Army surgeons, it seems, are
somewhat sea: and for lhat reason
t*cawe ueces y for Capt. Ranger to
appoint a surgeon outside of army
circles. The appointment carries with
it both honor and responsibility as the
heath, of all. who are stationed at the
Post, is entrusted to the charge of the
new appointees. Either Dr Turner
or Dr. Turner will have to make daily
tlsits to the fort and oftener when
conditions demand. The appointment
became effective at once and the new
doctors are today in full charge of all
work of a surgical or medical nature
at old Port sill.
The Lawton physicians are to be con
gratulated upon having so nice a plum
handed them and the post is equally
fortunate In securing the services of
capable men.
