The army engineer has arrived fit
Ft. Sill and active work has commenc-
ed on the plans and surveys for the
Medicine creek water plant. Captain
King of the Lawton city engineers of-

the work. When General Bell was
here he looked over the plans made by
the city engineer's office, showing in
detail the lake, dam. and pipe line
from the proposed site, and expressed
surprise at the amount of detail that
had been worked out by the city.
Captain King was offered a place on
the army engineer corps some time ag

morning. King is familiar with all
the work done by the city and will
prove a valuable assistant in making
the final surveys and detailed plans.
