Prof. A.
Linscheid,
Prague, Okla.
My dear Linscheid:—
I fust that you are
impressing upon the people of
Lincoln County the importance
of re electing O. P. Hays to his
present position. As an intim-
ate associate of his tor two years
with a lull opportunity to know
his work, I am Convinced that he
nas made tha best superintend-
ent that Lincoln county has
ever had.
M; s. Bennington is a lady of
the highest character, but, Lin-
scheid, you and I Know that
e lueationally and phisically she
is hardly fitted for the responsi-
bility of over-seeing the school
interests of a county line old
Lincoln.
Hoping that you are doing
your part, I am,
Your friend,
A- H. Burris.
Prof. A. Linscheid,
Prague, OKla.
Dear Prof: —
I am.just in receipt
of your esteemed favor asking
for my opinion as to Mr. Haj'es
record as County Superintenent.
1 oan freely aud cheerfully say
that M r. Hayes has established
an unviable reputation as a
practical and efficient official. He
has reduced the varied duties of
his office to a i erfect system and
by reason of his skill as an ab-
ministrative and executive of-
ficial he has been able to keep
pace with the ever increasing
duties of his office. He has a-
cheived that happy faculty of
turning off a large amount ot
worn with little worry and no
friction.
1 wish to say further, and you
may make the statement pub-
lic, if you desire, that in my o-
pinon, not to re-elect Mr. Hayes
at this time, is to commit an in-
excusable crime against the edu-
cational interests of our County.
We are now in a transitional
period, just passing from Terri-
tory to Stata. and if we are wise
we will Keep an experienced
educator practical school-man
at the heal of our educational
affairs. [ regard Mr. Hayes,
personally and professionally
as the man for the place, and-ex-
pect to give him my support. In
this office, politics must be
ignored.

Henry G. Reel the Republican nominee for representa-
tive to the Legislature from the hrst district of Lincoln t <>.
was born on a farm in Lawrence Co Illinois in 1H61, His
father was a soldier in the Union army and Henry early ex-
perienced the hardships resulting from the struggle lor the
preservation of the union. Mr Reel was educated in ih
public schools of His native state and came to Greer county
Okla. in 1H80 ao 1 to Lincoln'! >■ in 1894 wh.-re he homestead
ed a farm in S. Greek township. Mr Reel has ever identifi-
ed himself with the republican party but has neve^ before
been a candidate for any office. Lincoln county is purely a
igricultur.il county and it is not any m >re than just and light
that the farmers interests should be looked aftet by one
who has all his life been a practical farm n-. Bv reason of
his long residence in Oklahomi \lr. R >el is preeminently
well qualifiea to handle the question which will effect the

and ins progressiveness make him worth*' of every ejntiden

step for which they will not need to raaKe any apoligies or
explanations, they cheerfully recommend him to the people
of Lincoln county confident that he Will be elected to the
