Union at Manitou, recently res-
olutions were adopted asking
government aid in the present
financial crisis for the movement
of crops. Other unions are ask-
ed to concur and send delega
tions to Washington, petitioning
for a circulation medium to ena-
Jble the unincumbered warehous-
es to hold cotton for the best pos-
sible price, and ottering to place
the cotton crop under govern-
ment supervision, issuing to the
farmer as much as $35
per bale and placing enough in-
terest on the money to pay for
handling the crop. They allege
the present stringency is due en
I tirely to Wall Street.
