Thomas Johnson, of Fort Worth
Texas, a son of ex postmaster lohn-
soli, was shaking hands with his
many friends in Norman this week.
He is in the clothing business in
Fort Worth and prospering.

Payton, died at his home one
mile from Norman last Sunday
night of pneumonia after a protrac
ted sickness. Deceased wes about
forty years of age. His remains
were interred at Odd Fellows Ceme-
tery Monday afternoon.

Tuesday morning Judge Grigsby

Downing saw the gentleman dash-
