A- Crain was in town Saturday.
Atty. Davis is quite sick with typhoid fever.
Merritt is invoicing this week to Wilse Taylor.
Tom Hatcher and wife visited in the country Sunday.
Dr. Cossey is located for good in Prague and is happy
Judge Wagoner and Sheriff Martin were on our streets
Sunday.
Aiiss Norma Bullock come over from Oklahoma City the
tirst of the week. _____
Mrs. A. P. Slover returned from Shawnee Sunday where
she visited several days.
Uncle Henry Johnson is very low. He has been a suffer-
er for several months-
W. R. Bradley, an old acquaintance, was a familiar figure
on our streets last week.
Mr. W in. Helms and Miss Bertha Grimes spent Sunday
in Stroud with Mr. and Mrs. Sparks-
Mrs. Blumenthal says Mr. Blumenthal is now in New
York City making purchases of a ir am moth stock.
R. H- The mas, of the Thomas Hotel is spending the week
with his children in the western part of the new state.
M A. Wilson and wife were in town tirst the week and
Mrs' Vivian Zablodil went home with them for a few days.
Mr Waldron, the uian who was burned by the ignited
alcohol is improving. Jas. McCormick and wife have kindly
cared for him. _
Miss Leoti Overstreet and Howard Riddle were married
at chandler last Saturday and are spending the week at
Ticumseh

Potatoes are still coming on the market-
The poultry trade of this town is immense.
Marrying has become a mania here at Prague lately.
Wheat is 55 C"nts about a cent test for good wheat.
The market is glutted with peaches, and they ate line.
Dr. Davis reports a tiDe boy this week at Sterling tvob-
inson's.
Mr. and Mrs- Watkins have a new girl, Dr Davis in at-
tendance.
L. B. Hampton is erecting a new dwelling on Vista
heights.
The firm of J. D. Grimes & Co. has chang-d to Barrett
& G raham.

Dr Davis reports John Davis a little better and we hope
see John out soon.

Mr. Aplinger has begun the erection of a new gin west of

Lots of new buildings are in course of construction in
Prague now-a days.
This year the farmers will pour between seven and eitrlit
billion dollars into the lap of wealth.
Farmer Stiller brought in another batch of nice honey
and sold it on the market last Saturday.
A splendid line of Seth Thos. and other clocks received by
Violet B. Hunt, Jeweler and Optician.
Rev. Wm. Meyer, of Tecumseh, will preach in thi* city-
next Sunday at 11 o'clock at the M. E. church.
Barretts sold the corner south of the post office to Whit
more who will erect a new brick at once.

Talk new county and county seat here at Prague, with tort
Smith & Western division here. Talk it up.
Talk of another railroad from Tulsa to Shawnee and
Prague is on an air line- A northeast road would not hurt us.
The brick and stone work of the double front *tore
building on North Broadway is finished and u is in the hands
of the plasterers
J. F. Reynolds, who has been conducting a roller skating
rink here, left the tirst of the week for for SparKs where he
nas opened up f >r business
Workmen have b' gun work at the Leader store cutting out
the partition converting the two large stores into one tn\'at
double store. It will be filled with a choice stock of goods.
The past few years the south lias increased her real
estate ir. value more tliad a billion dollars and increased their
investments nearly one half billion dollars. Counting the
growth in all lines the increase runs into biilions.

sengers unless thev have permit to ride on freight trains. All

No. 2 makes connections at Weeleetka with "Frisco" for Hen-
rvyetta, Sapulpa and east, for Denison, Madill, Holdenville, etc.
